Nathan Maliba
Nathan Maliba discovered the world of music from his very young age. Born into a family of musicians, he decided to become a professional drummer at the age of 7. He devotes himself to the drums and in parallel, he gets a classical percussion education. In 2005 he is admitted to the Toulouse Conservatory and finished gold medalists in 2014 with the drums & percussion prize.
Influenced by the world of Fusion, Jazz, Funk or Latin, he attended several masterclasses by Dave Weckl and many others.. During his travels to the USA, Nathan did an internship devoted to Big-Band music (Michigan). He is also invited to the NAMM Show in 2015,2016 and 2017. Nathan performs with several different bands and projects. He played at the Café Cordial, Backed Potato in L.A., at the Halle aux Grains and Toulouse Stadium.
He often performs at Jazz In Marciac, one of Europe’s largest jazz festivals. Today, Nathan teaches drums in Toulouse (France) and performs with his various projects. He works as a recording artist for studios sessions and also makes videos (covers, personal projects..) on his socials networks. You can check out what Nathan is doing on his Insta & FB page.
