Carol Paes

Carol Paes is a Brazilian drummer, born in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. She started playing drums at church when she was 9 years old, and hasn’t stopped since.

At the age of 21, she entered the Brazilian Conservatory of Music, her favorite musical genre is rock and she believes what makes her different among worship drummers is her ability to use the double pedal, which she practices daily.

Carol has taken classes with some of the greatest drummers in Brazil, like Alexandre Aposan, as well as international drummers like David Witworth.

She already played with a lot famous artists and bands in Brazil and went on tour in Canada as well.

Currently, she plays in the Mananciais Church band, located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro and makes a living teaching drums and through her various social media projects
