Quique Ramírez

Quique Ramírez is a Spanish drummer, composer and educator recognized for his versatility, musicality and energetic approach to the instrument.

Born in Benissa, Spain, he studied in Barcelona before continuing his education in New York and The Netherlands, where he studied with internationally acclaimed musicians includig Mark Guiliana, Wayne Krantz and Ari Hoenig, amog others,

An active performer on the european music scene, Quique has performed and recorded with internationally recognized artist such Vincen Gracía, David Binney, Becca Stevens, Jorge Pardo and Petros Klamplanis, among many others.

As bandleader, he has released the albums “Through the Darkness” (2022) and “Connected to Earth” (2024) through PKmusic. Alogside his own projects, he is an in-demand session drummer with numerous studio spanning jazz, fusion, pop and contemporary music.

His playing blends the language of modern jazz with influences from electronic music, funk and progressive rock, combining technical precision with a strong musical identity.

Alongside his performing career, Quique has built a growing international audience through his creative drum cntent on social media, where his unique performances and musical reinterpretations contibue to reach thousands of viewers worldwide.
